Endocannabinoid System

The endocannabinoid system is a biological system composed of endocannabinoids, which are endogenous lipid-based retrograde neurotransmitters that bind to cannabinoid receptors, and cannabinoid receptor proteins that are expressed throughout the vertebrate central nervous system and peripheral nervous system. CBD helps activate this system.

CBD Hot Cacao recipe

235 ml/1cup plant-based milk of your choice.

2 tablespoons raw cacao powder

1-1.5 teaspoon maple syrup

1/4 teaspoon of sea salt


Serves 1

Place milk in a small saucepan over low heat. Once the milk has warmed through and is starting to bubble at the edges, whisk in the cacao powder. Increase the heat a little and simmer, stirring often, for 3-4 minutes.

Remove the pan from the heat and whisk in the maple syrup, CBD oil and sea salt. Pour the hot cacao into a mug and enjoy.
